JSn1™
Hi there. Something is going on with the OS Selector from Acronis Disk Director. When I installed it, my PC started to have an endless boot menu. Hopefully, I could enter to Windows to fix this, however, when I try to launch the app, it crashes. Please help. cbmkgd
I see you have xp and vista... I don't know how you installed one after the other, but a common mistake (if one intends to use acronis os selector (aoss) in the future) is to install vista while the xp partition is unhidden and still active... that way vista hijacks xp's boot sequence. So when aoss takes over, there could be chainloading loops... Maybe that's not what's happening in your situation, but it's a possibility. Personally, when I use aoss on a system, I install it by itself in a small logical fat32 partition, and always hide a winNT-like os partition when installing another winNT-like os to multiboot. Anyways: I recommend you use vista's own bootloader, or the darwin bootloader. Many guides about how to do this. As a bootloader is something you only see for a few seconds, no need to have eye-candy (i've read your other thread :pirate2: ). I'd go with darwin...
