Just posting my experience...

I followed the guide on macvidia, and replaced the PCI match to 0x32210de (I must have the same card as the dev), and deleted the other records. When I tried to kextload it, it came up with this error:

james-howlands-computer:/System/Library/Extensions root# kextload -t NVidia.kext
kextload: extension NVidia.kext appears to be valid
kextload: notice: extension NVidia.kext has debug properties set
6NVIDIA is not compatible with its superclass, 17IONDRVFramebuffer superclass changed?
kextload: a link/load error occured for kernel extension NVidia.kext
load failed for extension NVidia.kext
(run kextload with -t for diagnostic output)

Any ideas?

Darn, you got me all excited there with the "Alpha 2" part... :graduated:

According to the site there is only v0.1a out currently, and only for 10.4.1 :weight_lift:

I have a fully working OSX, sadly no accelerated video... yet. :/

yeah im in the same situation also

is there any word from the dev's if alpha 2 will support 10.4.3?

from what i understand, 99/100 there is not going to be another release. We are all just hanging around and hoping, man i wish i had a proper knowledge of the microKernel driver api, as well as the nvidia drivers. I would just write it myself. Oh well, I am far to lazy to learn.
