ipguy Posted June 25, 2007 Share Posted June 25, 2007 hi all for well over a few months now, after successfully installing my hackingtosh, i have been experiencing issues with burning DVD's no matter what i try, i can only burn about 10% of the DVD i attempt to burn. i've tried patchburn and it doesn't seem to make any difference... it's defiantly a OSX issue as i can burn the DVD's without a problem in parallels my DVD burners spec below in case anyone can offer any suggestions... It shouldn't have any compatibility problems since it's an actual SuperDrive (or at least the same model drive as one). What kind of disc are you burning to? That drive had problems with +RWs long ago, but it should have been fixed with the firmware yours has. yeah, works in windows every time. no error, it just endlessly spins, starting and stopping until i get pissed and reboot. i've used all kinds of disks, +R -R etc... sony, nameless... etc... is there anything i can do to get this sorted on the OSX side ?
