VooD
I just read Santa Rosa chipset is i965 based...so, would that mean we will finally see good support for our i965 mobos (at least as good as with i945)? As far as I understand (and tested), i945 based boards work A LOT better than i965 ones in osx and that´s probably because til now osx came with Intel Napa platform support (centrino i945)...so did anybody have a look at Santa Rosa Mac Book Pro install DVD? Dr. Hurt
I'm really excited to see what new hardware support applw will add to 10.4.10. It'll probably have newer NVidia drivers including support for 8xxx cards. I also think it might have support for ICH8 ide and sata.
Infamous
I'm excited about this too. We will find out with patched 10.4.10 kernel and combo update.
jharleman
10.4.10 is not working so hot for me. With the new kernel/system kext a bunch of alarms and going off (unfound app.com....) and it won't load into graphics mode. We need a real 10.4.10 or 10.5 install.
