neebong
Hello. Just Triple-booted my mac there with OSx/XP/Ubuntu, had a few issues with the Ubuntu booting, eventually got it working.. but now my rEFIt boot menu has 4 icons.. 2 of which are Unix, one showing 'Partiton 3' the other showing the usual 'Boot Linux from HD'..(both work by the way) Any ideas on how to merge the 2 linux? Any info would be appreciated! Cheers neebong
Soündless
i think one of the linux parttions is for swap
neebong
doubt i would be able to get rid of it without deleting my swap file then?
erbic
Weird... I have an OS X-Vista-Kubuntu triple-boot, and I've only got the 3 icons... and not one for the swap. I have utterly no idea why your rEFIt would be doing that, but I can say that on my Mac with roughly the same config it works fine.
Christoph Pfisterer
Would you be able to run the "Partition Inspector" tool from the rEFIt 0.9 disk image and post the output here? Without some hard facts about your setup it's very hard to help you. And no, the additional icon is almost certainly not from a swap partition. Those aren't bootable, and I doubt you even have one on your system.
