retroz
Ok, you update the HD to 10.4.8, or fresh install. Other Hard Drives have 10.4.6, they become storage drives. Then you go to install say Absynth or Drrumcore or GarageBand and when you go to select WHERE to install samples the OTHER Harddrives have a RED "!" and you can't install the samples on there. Is there a way to fix these drives? Thanks! If you manually move the files to secondary drives, how do you point to them? (Logic, Final Cut, iLife Apps) and so on?? Thanks! Have the same problem, my take is that real update fixes all drives and not the way we do it, but a real mac user having the same problem would also happen if they throw in a HD from older system. Will post in Audio to see if they know how to fix!?
non sequitur
It means they don't want you to install it on that drive. perhaps it uses some preferences in system folders, and if it can't find them, it won't install.
