I've come here to ask your opinion on my future OSx86 install. I wish to install OSx86 on my laptop and I would like to know which release is best suited for my setup. The reason I ask this is because there are just so many releases and re-releases, I simply can't keep up. Below, you will find my laptop system specs. I appreciate all your help and look forward to your replies. Thank You. CPU: Intel Core Duo T2500 at 2.0Ghz Chipset: Intel 945PM + ICH7-M RAM: 2GB Kingston 2x1GB Video: NVIDIA Go7600 with 256MB RAM Optical: DVD+-RW HD: 100GB SATA Audio: Realtek ALC883 Thank You and have a good day. Snerler Posted May 27, 2007 Share Posted May 27, 2007 Your set-up looks good, but you'll have to check more closely. I have used JAS's release successfully on a similar laptop, and its pretty easy to find. Make sure to apply the patches to the 10.4.8 release. You can find more info in the How To section.
