digifreak
Has anyone an idea on how to solve this problem: Board: Asus P5W HD HDD: 4 Sata (3 Samsung, 1 Seagate) + 1 IDE (samsung) Config: IDE + DVD-Rom on jmicron IDE 3 Sata HDD on S-ata 1-3 (ICH-7) (One is Mac OsX - boopartition) 1Sata on jmicron Sata I can see all disk, but don't have access on the IDE and on one of the Sata on ICH-7. What could the problem / reason for that be? How can I solve this? Under XP everythng works fine. All are NTFS-Formated. Some were formerly used on a ASUS A8N-SLI deluxe (Raid-Controller) - should reformating work??? Thank you for your support!
adowoMAC
Mac OS is not able to write NTFS. Only reading is enabled.
KasperNL
adowoMAC is right, but there's a project which add read/write support, it's called MacFuse: http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/ Give it a try, here it works perfectly, it also allowed me to mount other filesystems. digifreak
I know, that Mac OS is not able to write on NTFS (natively) but, as I wrote, I can`t READ the disks. They are shown in the DiskUtillity, but not in the finder. Any other Ideas? (Thnks anyway)
