Mebster
I'm interested too. But you should rename the title to something like Is it easy to change an iMac internet HDD?
U.C.
Should work, but you would have to open up the iMac. It cant be too tough opening it. But putting it back together, such that it works is probably another story.
Colonel
You should check out iFixit's guide to Mac parts and upgrades. Just click your iMac model, then the part you want to fix/replace and it will give you a step-by-step guide (with pictures) on how to upgrade your hard drive. U.C.
Just use Disk Utility. Its free and guaranteed to work. You can use Ghost. I have used it. There are several iMac repair guides on the net.
