Khid Posted May 16, 2007 Share Posted May 16, 2007 I just tried it last night, crossed my fingers... FLAWLESS INSTALL. Motion 2 screams, Final Cut studio poops on everything. No hitches, no nothing. I can do everything I can on this Mac I'm sitting at now. System: 10.4.8 8.8.1 kernel from Cool Kal 10.4.9 upgrade. Gigabyte DS3 Rev 3.3 Q6600 2gb G.skill ram (ordering another two monday) 3 x 250gb Seagate HDD 1 x 500gb Seagate external nVidia GeForce 7900GS (Come on 8800 suport. GEESH. Think I might get an X1950 til then) Horray!!! Khid Posted May 17, 2007 Author Share Posted May 17, 2007 Final Cut Studio 1 5.1 Universal. Final Cut Studio 2 isn't out yet, but as soon as it is I'm ordering it so I'll tell ya if it works. Oh and with the Kal update to 10.4.9/8.8.1 Kernel I was able to software update straight from Apple and now have 5.1.4 and latest software updates without an issue. I would suggest backing up your OSX install first. Ordered mines today, getting it next week I'm sure. hoo haaa And it hasn't been out for weeks. You could've ordered it, but you wouldn't have gotten it til this week.
