aqua-mac Posted May 12, 2007 Share Posted May 12, 2007 8600GT is not supported by OS X at the moment and probably won't be untill 10.5 as there are no drivers. At the moment the most powerfull card which will work is 7900 GTX either the 256 version or the 512 version if you are prepared to reflash the rom. The 8600GT will work with no acceleration, resolution changes (you will be stuck at 1280 x 960 despite your monitor) & no core image or Quartz Extreme.
