patato
I reformated my hard drive becasue I wanted to reinstall Windows. I left 13 gigs out of 56 gigs unpartitioned for OSX. Everything went well and I partitioned the 13gigs via Disk Managment to FAT32 and I installed OSX (Jas 10.4.8). After I installed OSX, I cannot get into the login screen in XP. What I mean is that XP boots, but hangs just at the "Windows XP" thing. Also, strangely, there is nothing under the "Windows XP"...normally, it says something like "Starting Windows" under the Anyone got some suggestions for me? EDIT: I'm using Darwin's bootloader.
hackintom
Try digging deeper in the forums, I've already seen this. The answer is simple but I can't remember it. Sorry

12vunion
You probably changed your SATA mode to ACHI to get OS X to install. But if Windows was installed in IDE mode, it probably won't boot in ACHI mode. Change it back to IDE to get Windows to boot again. Unfortunately, that might make OS X unbootable. You'll have to switch it each time. Or you installed OS X over your Windows partition. Bummer.
