I want it to ALWAYS open stuff in a list or column view, and I can't seem to find a way to set this... is there a way to change Finder's default way of viewing? erbic Posted May 11, 2007 Share Posted May 11, 2007 You can go to Finder Menu --> Preferences and set "Always open new windows in a column view". That's not the detailed list view, though.
