sorry guy i've just seen your post ...

 

i 've eard that for this kind of ethernet nic, you must use the IONetworking.kext of 10.4.4...

they tell that it works...

CPU: E6600

MoBo: P5K (plain P5K)

NIC: Intel Pro 1000MT PCI (damn Attansic )

GPU: MSI 7900GTO 512MB (with patched bios)

Several HDDs

Old DVD Writer with IDE->SATA Adapter

New Apple Keyboard (really slim)

 

My Experience:

- Jmicron in AHCI works, but was to buggy for me. I forced my Bios back to 406 to enable SATA AHCI (with afudos211)

- Intel NIC won't work with IONetworkingfamily.kext from installation disk (...you have to restart your computer...), but IONetworkingfamily.kext from 10.4.4 works perfect.

I dont understand that post.

Does that mean that after all these years we CAN install OSX86 with l1 gigabit LANs?
