jesusnuno Posted May 9, 2007 Share Posted May 9, 2007 Here is my Experience installing "Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1].iso" on mobo: ECS P4M800PRO-M V2, CPU: E6600, RAM: 1GIG DDR400 Store Brand, HDD: SATA 40GIG, Video: Nvidia 6600GT 1.) burning the ISO. I burned it with Nero Express. 4X speed - No problem 2.) Installing. Everything i read told me to use one partition. - Did not work for me. would install fine but not reboot. i would put the cd in and i would get a .apple.mac.plist can't find error. How i got it to install: 1 boot from CD. 2 disk utility 3 erase disk with extended (journals) 4 Create another partition *** Important*** 5 install - options: intel sse2 sse3, X11 , titan Nvidia Drivers re booted and OSX started - yeah problems: sound left channel only, no drivers for my wireless card airlink101 4030 video glitches and kernel errors. will try again with DDR2 ram see if that helps. well that's my experience. update:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Got the sound working (stereo) used -- patched AppleAC97Audio.Kext Video Working by -- removing AGPGart.Kext all good, no more random kernel errors or Screen refresh problems. hope it helps some one. I have installed it successfully with Windows on a partition and on emty disk with the whole disk as partition. Same problem on both: I get kernel panic. But when I look after, it is only with the JaS. I got another one, and it installed on a friends computer, but on mine it stopped in "Take out the disc and press 'Reboot' button". HW: Intel C2D E6400 2,13GHz @ standard Abit AW9D-MAX Sapphire Radeon X1800XL 1500mb Kingston HyperX PC5400 250GB WD Caviar S-ATA NEC DVD+RW Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am going to give this a go... i tried leo4all that didn't work install Failed *Please carefully clean your disk Error ARRG* Hp tx2000 250GB 4gb RAm AMD Turion 64 x2 Update: Hey guys i tried to Install this on my Laptop .Everything going nicely .. Untill I have to go to disk Utility.
