Acronis OS Selector Disappeared - Cant boot into Windows!

Hey all, following a tutorial here, I installed Acronis OS Selector, which worked, before I installed OSX. After I installed OSX, the OS Selector disappeared, and is replaced by Darwin, which automatically loads OSX. My Windows was on the first partition and OSX on the second, both drives being primary.

 

edit: what should I do to get back to OS Selector, or at least Windows?

look under Messing With The Boot Options section, on the timeout. or keep pressing F8 when you on your pc after bios sequence. it should give you a boot option to boot into which os.

 

i recommend you taking the effort to do the timeout. =)

Try hitting the escape button after the mobo's board bios sequence. Don't just hit it once, keep hitting it. If no luck try the F6 key, cant remember which one brought you to menu

If you still want to use os selector, you could use the acronis bootable cd you made to restore/reactivate os selector.

 

But for such a simple dualboot, follow chenwk's advice, and simply use darwin's bootloader.

thanks for the replies, but on the wiki, I saw nothing that would indicate how to add a windows partition to darwin.. im a total noob when it comes to OSX, sorry guys. But thanks for the help.

He wanted you to go here, in the tips&tricks section where you can set a timer so you can see the darwin boot menu, where you should see a choice for booting windows and osx.
