nicknowsky Posted May 5, 2007 Share Posted May 5, 2007 I am really going nuts trying and trying to just install a copy of OSX86 (10.4.7 and 10.4.8) I have a FX5200 128mb AGP card and that seems to be WHAT is preventing the ACTUAL installation of Osx86 I keep getting the message display family driver fails or something like that. erbic Posted May 5, 2007 Share Posted May 5, 2007 I think it's "Display: Family specific matching fails". That's not your problem. My Macbook Pro does the same thing when I boot it in verbose mode. If I were you I'd look at the few lines above that; your problem might be in there somewhere.
