mlmorg
I'm just wondering how to get the wg311 pci to work with airport. I'm using Jas 10.4.8 on an AMD 64 3200+ a8n-sli deluxe I think it is recognized in the system profiler but I'm not sure. Under network it has built in ethernet (which is the marvel yukon on the board which works fine) and then the other is pci ethernet pci10de,57. BSD device name is en1. I'm guessing this is it...but it doesn't show up as an airport. How can I fix this? Thanks, Matt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/50023-netgear-wg311-v2/ Share on other sites
mlmorg
Sorry just read that this is not an Atheros chip so it won't get recognized is OSX. What pci wireless cards are proven to work in 10.4.8? i need to buy one tomorrow. Nothing too expensive. mlmorg
Thanks for the replies. Since I'm probably just going to stop off at compusa today...I don't think they have the asus usb wireless cards...So I'm thinking I will just get the wg311T...That one works I thought I read. Are there other usb ones that might work that I could pick up at compusa. Thanks.
