bigcletus
I am able to share files back and forth between my hackintosh and windows computers but I cannot figure out how to specify which folders to share on the hackintosh. It just shares my user's home folder. I would like to share some other partitions instead. Any help is appreciated. hecker
Here you go, bro: http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2002/11/19/mac_pc.html Make sure you also read the Mac OS X and SMB HOWTO. That is where you specify which locations will be shared with windows. hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/49752-sharing-files-for-windows-computers/#findComment-359458 Share on other sites
bigcletus
thanks for the help Strangely enough I found little information on this. As far as I could find, the only way to specify which folders to share is to edit /etc/smb.conf file and include shares there.
