JSn1™ Posted April 26, 2007 Share Posted April 26, 2007 Hi. Recently, I found my system slower, so I decided to investigate a little more about what was causing the lack of speed in Mac OS X. I opened the activity monitor and looked that 1 Core was loaded at 100%. That is why i feel my system slower, all processes are normal, however, there is one named kextload that says that load 100%. sarahbau Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 Did you install any new drivers or run software updates? It looks like kextload is hanging trying to load a kext. It shouldn't normally be running otherwise. Also check your Console in /Applications/Utilities to see if it's giving any messages. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
