i mean that if i have the hd with the mac os on the ide1 cable all the devices in the ide 2 aren't recognized

 

I think I would check the jumpers on all of the drives to be sure that Master and Slave settings are correct. Make sure your ribbon cables are inserted into the IDE connectors on the Motherboard and disk drives correctly as well. Finally, the last connector on the cable is typically for a Master drive with the center connector for "Slave".

I have a biostar u8668pro

The cable works well on windows but mac doesn't recognized it.

I mean that if i have the hd with mac on the A cable all the device in the B cable will not recognized by mac...

(if IDE)

Simple step:

 

Primary IDE chanel: IDE HDD jumper Master, dvd Drive jumper Slave.

Secontary chanel: HDD or any device Master, HDD or any device Slave.

Install.

 

Simpliest:

 

Leve it like it is.

Give a name to the Drive for instalation like "Os X".

Install.
