sarahbau
I'm not sure what you mean by "all the devices attacked to the various cable ide from that one where the system disc is." What problem are you having with those devices?
the_azzi
i mean that if i have the hd with the mac os on the ide1 cable all the devices in the ide 2 aren't recognized
Sailfish
i mean that if i have the hd with the mac os on the ide1 cable all the devices in the ide 2 aren't recognized I think I would check the jumpers on all of the drives to be sure that Master and Slave settings are correct. Make sure your ribbon cables are inserted into the IDE connectors on the Motherboard and disk drives correctly as well. Finally, the last connector on the cable is typically for a Master drive with the center connector for "Slave".

chenwk
sorry, I couldn't get to understand the virus attacking the cables, but rightfully, it shouldn't be a problem since it worked before, did it?

Oracle67
(if IDE) Simple step: Primary IDE chanel: IDE HDD jumper Master, dvd Drive jumper Slave. Secontary chanel: HDD or any device Master, HDD or any device Slave. Install. Simpliest: Leve it like it is. Give a name to the Drive for instalation like "Os X". Install.
