skydiver Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 Seems the last security update foces my OSX Jas 10.4.9 install into safe mode every time I boot. My ATI 550 card use to work with the latest Final Cut Pro but does not any longer. Could this be why it boots to safe mode every time? Should I get a different video card like the the Nvidia 7900 gs? mac.nub Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 Something sounds rather fishy to me, the security update shouldn't force your install into safemode, it worked fine on my Inspiron 6400 and certianally doesn't make it boot into safemode!
