Now every time I boot I get the grey apple screen then my monitor switces off for about a minute then switches on and everything is loaded. But now and again it just hangs with the monitor off. not a big deal just wondering if it is normal I am running Jas 10.4.8 kernel 8.8.1 on Intel 945 chipset with a 6600 Nvidia card. lord xeon Posted April 18, 2007 Share Posted April 18, 2007 i'm using the same image, with the nait drivers. when it boots into osx, after the grey screen, my monitor looses all input for about 3-5 seconds, then it turns back on and its's all loaded. never had it hang, and never had it last longer then 5 seconds. my graphics card is a 7600.
