This window has no close button on it

You can't use the computer until you deal with sales extortion.

On the plus side the Voice control of the computer is great and works

And you can resize windows from four sides

Sounds like someone can't:

Use the volume button (If you got it with a DVD player from any major OEM, the volume will work, or the DVD is corrupt)

Yep, you and alessandro

"This window has no close button on it"

Perhaps you can't look. Have a look in control pannel/disability options.

Can you click Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs?

What was the purpose of posting this in an Apple forum, unless to flame Microsoft.

"WIPE WIPE WIPE REINSTALL OS >>> PROFIT"

Generally true there, although I just uninstalled the extra {censored} from my Gatway, and I've been running great ever since. (That damn Google desktop that they include, (Does vista not have it's own indexed search?)) Then they included google Widgets or whatever the hell, and Disabled sidebar by default. I really hate google.

This is a feature call SSP. When this kicks in it's what Microsoft calls "reduced functionality mode". Basically you have no computer features. Sometimes the background is even black.

SSP is supposed to kick in only when you are using a pirated :pirate2: copy of vista

ya... they all suck, except for google eawrth :pirate2: noone should use google desktop, apparently, it uploads a copy of ur hdd to google... but one thing to do before you wipe the os off is to image it suing ghos or watever, like berfore you even start ur new comp, take the hdd out and image it. then wipe everyting off, saves you steps later in case you need some stuff off of that original copy, i heard thats how a lot of people get to use antivirus software for unlimited amounts of time even though their new pcs only came with a 30 day trial..
