Baby Thomas
Hi all. I have AMD64 + NForce 6100 chipset/onboard video, so I cannot install any drivers. The only way is to manually install NVidia.kext & NVDriver.kext from MacVidia 1.0.81 package. Then I have resolutions and refresh rates in System Preferences, but the refresh rate accepted from my Samsung 17" CRT isn't correct. I set 85Hz, CRT works @78 Hz. I had similar problem with Ubuntu Linux, but I was able to enter mannualy the settings of my monitor (30-96kHz, 50-160 Hz), so I had fixed the problem. Is there a possibillity to do that in MacOSX? I'm runnng native Tubgirl 10.4.8 with the update to 10.4.9. Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48183-incorrect-refresh-rate/ Share on other sites
Sabr
Atthe Darwin prompt, try typing in your resolution like this (with the quote marks), but change it to what you want your resolution to be: "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32@85" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48183-incorrect-refresh-rate/#findComment-345138 Share on other sites
