fil
Hi I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.8 - JaS AMD Intel SSE2 SSE3 incl. PPF1, and I'm pleased to say everything works perfectly: LAN, sound and USB. I don't want to sound like I'm nitpicking but there is one minor niggle. When I scroll using the mouse wheel, small white or coloured blocks are left under the cursor, such as when you are scrolling down a webpage. Initially when installing I ticked the option to install the NVIDIA and ATI drivers, but they left me unable to see anything (the monitor was saying no signal), so I left them out and it worked. So, are there any other drivers I can try? I'm running an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. Thanks. hecker
Sorry, but that is a general problem with that ATI line of cards. The only way to correct the problem (at least in part) is by installing an app called "Mighty Mouse" (demo) and loading a custom mouse template. Search this forum for "+ati +mouse +tearing". hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/48044-mouse-scrolling-leaves-graphical-artifacts/#findComment-344175 Share on other sites
