Tim Watts
Great forum..First post..Hope it hasn't been asked and answered yet? I just bought a new Seagate 750 SATA and want to replace the 250 I have in my 24" Mac (with bootcamp and Vista already installed). Can I take an image of my old HD and put it on my Seagate without having to reinstall Vista (and about 65G of other programs and files) again? And if that's possible, can I get bootcamp to increase the two formatted partitions on there to match the new HD size? Thanks in advance, Tim. Soündless
if you have a second hd, you can install os x, then make an image of the hard drive you want coppied, boot onto a dvd and restore the image to the new one. also, nicemac has clonetool hatchery, it does the same thing, i think Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47967-moving-over-macosx-vista-to-new-hd/#findComment-343832 Share on other sites
