romey-rome
I upgraded my 10.4.1 to 10.4.3. Now I get that stupid bug that people had in 10.4.1 but I never did. The one where the services show up in the dock. Was there ever a solution for this? Specs: (not that it matters) Intel D915GVWB Celly 2.8 with DX & PAE Thanks BTW: I installed from DVD with only the oah patch. MitchBomcanhao
ok... is that "10.4.3" update from the 600mb update? you do know its not really 10.4.3... or have you installed the new version dvd? this really is becoming an issue on the forum, now everything is 10.4.3, even if its not. defylogik
if you rebuild your permissions in disk utility the problem will go away. or it will go away when you install a program (because it rebuilds the permissions for you when it is done installing) i had the problem, but it is gone after i did the above. Hagar
Apart from being a known bug in 1099, this is just an annoyance really. it will go away when we go to 8f1111 or newer, so it's not worth bothering about.. Actually, I was surprised at the pretty icons some daemons have, and it's interesting to see what kind of background processes the different apps are running. watch & learn whilst it's there..
