t3mur Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 Okay so i installed the Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2] and when i restart the computer i get the white screen with apple logo and then the blue screen witch stays on.. does this mean it wont boot? this is my computer specs Dell Insparon B13 Name: Intel Celeron M 380 Code Name: Dathon Brand ID" 18 Package: Socket 479 mPGA Technology: 90 nm Family : 6 Model: D Stepping:8 Instructions: MMX SSE SSE2 i went to disk utility and partitions to 1 hd and formated it. it installed everything and now this issue,, please help. Try typing -v in the darwin bootscreen (quickly press F8 several times, right before OSX begins to boot) and it will boot in verbose mode. You should be able to see what the error message is from there. hecker i showed alot of stuff and really quick before it all dissapeared, but here are some things i saw repeat alot... "connot find child" "some bios didnt match" and some other stuff cannopt be found.. I SEARCHED the forums about no boots, and I thought I read something on selecting the proper items from the customize install menu. Put in your windows XP disk, and format the harddrive to NTFS again, and you will be able to install windows. devils-haven Posted April 6, 2007 Share Posted April 6, 2007 what is this dell Dell Insparon B13? all i said is how it worked for me, but your graphics card maybe diffrent(possible still same problem) in any case, when u made the install did u install the included titan or natit driver, which ever it was on the cd, cuze i can't remmber if so reinstall, and don't install any of those drivers reason same cd installed using all teh nice options i have gforce 6800 and smae, white loading screen, then teh regular blue screen(not blue screen of death) and thought yay os loading its blue, but then its stuck nothing hapening try that if that workes u can allway's install vid drivers after ps after graphics driver install, after the white screen my monitor shuts off, then 1 minut later turns back on and everything works including qe and ci.
