OSXtasy
I would'nt touch it with a 10-foot pole, nor recommend it. I dont even allow my users to use it on the Window side of the house....ughh :laser: Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47477-google-desktop-out-for-os-x/#findComment-339937 Share on other sites
Takuro
I think one reason why they didn't make Google Desktop for Mac sooner was the simple fact that we have Spotlight. Unless you have a pre-Tiger version of OS X, you really don't need it. odrex
They'd have to do lot to unseat Spotlight + Quicksilver. Can't think of anything that it could offer that would make one switch over. superkona
They'd have to do lot to unseat Spotlight + Quicksilver. Can't think of anything that it could offer that would make one switch over. how about a nice implementation of preview results (and highlight terms) of searches for pdf, ppt, docs? spotinside is the best i have found so far but it is very basic - i want copernic desktop search for osx, one of the few things i miss from xp.
