Zulu.Walker
...and having just migrated too to FCP Studio HD from Avid MC 10.2 under windows... I'm conflicted. Just wanted to share this, I really like how fast I work under Avid but love the extensibility of FCP's studio package. For any previous Avid editors who are on FCP UB, will this sway you back into using Avid? If FCP doesn't have auto scene detection in their new version, it'll be compelling enough for me to go back to Avid. I can't believe that FCE can detect TC breaks and FCP cannot. Totally skewed. jonokti
TC breaks? as in when you pause? it can do it but not like other NLE I've used it keeps one file but makes segments which are essentially just markers. Go to Mark -> DV Start/Stop Detect. I did read however long ago that as you capture TC break would create separate files in the next version of FCP.
