  1. Sony Vaio VPCF126FM OSX Project

Did you try to install any ps2 drivers for the keyboard and mouse? I was considering buying this laptop.
  2. I had the same issue with 10.5.6 changing the AppleSMBIOS.kext fixed my issue. Mine would totally close out FCP with no crash report.
  3. Do you have a MBP with a GeForce 8600 ? http://theappleblog.com/2009/06/01/apple-e...to-three-years/
  4. I've been struggling to get my toshiba A205-S5825 fan working and to no avail. However, I did a fresh install of iPC 10.5.6 and the fans still didn't work I tried Ivan h acpi.zip and no go. Finally, I installed ik8fan along with the gui and now my FAN WORKS! I tried with only the kext and it didn't work and it needs to have the gui app installed for it to work. I know it's supposed to be for Dell Laptops but I had nothing to lose and it payed off. Anyhow, maybe they will work for someone else like me who doesn't have a dell. I got the files from here. http://www.invalidation.org/i8kstuff.zip They were from this post. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1037629
  5. Capture from a Camcorder MiniDV

try using a hub or daisy chain to a firewire HD, I've seen this happen even on the core2 iMacs once you use the hub or HD it will recognize the device.
  6. I chose I have to reboot to get the fan to come on but putting the laptop to sleep after it heats up a bit also starts my fans. I have a Toshiba A205-S5825 Kalyway 10.5.2
