smoked1
I am wondering if anyone has installed on an Inspron 6000 and got the wireless to work. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47150-help-with-inspiron-6000/ Share on other sites
AMWN
same here... I don't have wireless 2200bg working. I installed the iwi2200.dmg but i'v got no results so far. I don't know exactly what to expect actually. Should I see an airport icon? Or is it visible as an network adapter? And what about the networkselector.kext, what should I do with that? Anyone can explain me how to? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47150-help-with-inspiron-6000/#findComment-337765 Share on other sites
-Bj
Actually, I got a Inspiron 6000 and I got my Intel 2200BG wireless to work Ok, soo... install the drivers just like normal, but edit the file in: /System/Library/Extensions/iwi2200.kext/Contents/Info.plist In there, look for the value "p_disable", under it, it'll say "0", change that to "1" and there ya go. I tried the LED thing to work but it still doesn't work... the bluetooth light is so lonely since my num lock doesn't work either... lol Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/47150-help-with-inspiron-6000/#findComment-337989 Share on other sites
