Any limitations After My OSX86 Install?

I'll want to get back on-line using my ADSL modem (Thomson Speedtouch 536), set-up my system for e-mails (usual stuff). Will my printer work (I'm assuming I'll need Apple Mac drivers of some sort).

What does X86 actually come packaged with? Will I be able to update the X86 to a more current version.

Lastly, has there ever been a cracked verion of the latest Mac OS, what stops us from simply installing a genuine off the shelf OS?

Yes, there will be limitations since it is a non official installation running on your system.

If your ethernet is supported you'll be able to get online.

If your printer is supported by OSX you'll be able to print, OSX comes with a whole sh*tload of printer drivers so if you have a current model no extra drivers are needed.

What X86 comes packaged with? Depends on what version you install. Some updates can be done but running software update on a OSX86 install will render your system dead.

Nothing is stopping you from installing a genuine off the shelf OS, I got quite a few of those running on my systems - look at sig.

Mark1970 misunderstood your question. No you cannot install an off the shelf copy of OSX on anything other than a REAL Mac.

Didn't misunderstand the question, simply pointed out running genuine off the shelve OSX on my real Macs :(

Besides it was april 1st....
