mkesterco
While I was fighting with my PC system (whole other story), my 2 year old twins (girls) decided to push Mommy's new Probook off a 2 foot ledge onto a wood floor.... it sprung open and a key ejected.... they thought that was so cool, they proceeded to pull ALL the keys off the keyboard, and not lacking for energy or enthusiasm.... they then proceeded to pull the plastic key retainer/springs of the board. I managed to find all the keys and all but one retainer/spring, 2.5 hours later I had reassembled the keyboard and tested it to work AND HERE'S the "BUT" (and my problem) Can anyone help me to get another (or tell me where to go) "right arrow key" (the one on the bottom row to the far right of the keyboard) and should it matter it's silver and backlit because it broke (clips on back) AS WELL AS the two plastic retainer/spring clip pieces that would hold it on????? Mom's fairly bummed since she has only turned it on about 5 times, so Dad's not gettin , any help would be appreciated. THANKS! ciper
This isnt the right forum to ask the question, this forum is for people who have installed MacOS on PCs like dells. That said I suggest you find a broken keyboard on ebay and scavenge parts from it.
