Cryptix
I installed windows first, then I installed OSX 10.4.8 afterwards. I can boot into OSX, but I can't boot into windows anymore because the OSX installation wrote over the MBR during the install... I tried to load boot camp from apples website but it says I need to update my firmware, well I'm on a PC so I obviously can't update my firmware from Apple. I need to be able to dual-boot. What's the easiest way to do it? Or is there a way to use boot camp? theKid
Cryptix, Unfortunately, Apple's Boot Camp won't work. You may want to have a look at this post, http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...39253&st=60 which covers dual booting comprehensively. rollcage
yeah, no bootcamp because of the way that it uses EFI to choose the boot OS. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/46642-using-boot-camp-for-dual-boot/#findComment-337434 Share on other sites
