videotape74 Posted March 23, 2007 Share Posted March 23, 2007 So, I went ahead and installed Mac OS X 10.4.7 AMD/Intel by JaS and it seemed to install fine and I got through all the installation process and rebooted when it asked to, then it started up and a bunch of text scrolled throught the screen, saying things were loading etc. But then when the text stopped scrolling I got a black screen with a bunch of different sized vertical lines and nothing else would happen. Did I install something wrong? I left everything checked off under Custom install and also checked of Patches by JaS (not sure of proper wording). The system I was trying to install/run it on was... Intel P4 @ 1.7gHz Intel Desktop Board (D845EBG2) 512MB RAM (PC3200 DDR) Gigabyte Radeon 9550 256 MB Toshiba SD-R5272 8x DVD+/-RW if there's any other info that you need to help me, please let me know. thank you in advance for any/all help. videotape74 Posted March 23, 2007 Author Share Posted March 23, 2007 i didn't take note of the last line because it went so fast, and also...i never saw a -s option. also...do i have to patch the dvd with anything or do any other steps before i burn it? i'm really looking forward to trying this.
