So i got my hackintosh all working clean and pretty. this thing is faster w/ 1 core than xp is with both running. too bad internet and sound dont work... anyway, my real question was about su. for some reasoni dont seem to have a superuser acct. my regular login is an admin acct but with some things it still tells me i dont have permission to do. the main example is PowerManagement.package it wont let me replace it for some reason. even with the password(actually i dont have a pw i just left it blank) verification on my acct it still wont let me. also, when i do a su su in the terminal it asks me for my password... there isnt one so i leave it blank and it replies Sorry! then gives me a new promt. any ideas on what im doing wrong?

also, as a side note. how do i change the name of my computer? cant do it in the system profiler.
