hi @ all

first my specs:

Intel Core2Duo E6400 @ 2x2,6 Ghz

ASUS P5LD2 Mobo

2GB DDR 667

ATI X1800XT

I started a Test in Cinebench 2003 in OSX and Windows XP 32bit...and the results are:

Rendering test

OSX: 1 CPU 135pt

2 CPU 237 pt

XPPROF: 1 CPU 240 pt

2 CPU 435 pt

is it normal or goes sometning wrong with my osx ...???

OSX shows me 2,6 Ghz and 2 Cores.

Xbench Score 141 pt

why opengl ...?? this may be or is slower but cinebench only tests the cpu speed ... ( i only mean the rendering test )

i dont want to play games on mac os x, i need the power for rendering stuff like video-rendering, so i need all cpu power i can get ...and im not sure how much of opengl is using by imovie or other video-editing-apps. when i looking at some cinebench results, i wonder how it is possible that my machine is so slow in rendering.

i also found a comparison between macosx and windows in cinebench ...and there was no big difference

i will test later cinebench 9.5 ...i only tested 2003 ...maybe thats the mistake... but the results of the comparison were much higher then my windows results ... thats mysterious.

i will post the results later... will also try some kernel-flags an later an update to 10.4.9
