You might want to go Intel if you want a hackintosh mac. Second they are raping you on the price, Newegg has that board for 188plus ship and the processor for $129. PS if your going for a computer, especially in that price range I'd go for an intel E6600, look around for a compatible board, and for a video card I think the highest you can buy that works 100% with mac is, correct me if I'm wrong is the 7800GT/7900GS. CraigularB Posted March 18, 2007 Share Posted March 18, 2007 (edited) I'd stay away from SLI; It works ONLY if you don't want Quartz Extreme/Core Image enabled. I found that out the hard way...Once I installed Titan/nVidia accelerated Kexts, I'd try to boot and get a black screen. My 2nd video card is now sitting in its box, waiting for a really hard-core gaming day. I had talked to someone one the forums who said that right now there's no support for SLI whatsoever.... But how you no live in Brazil maybe would be more ease you buy too a genuine mac, no? The point of my project is to build a Hackintosh, and I'm putting it inside a G4 Quicksilver case. Therefore, I probably won't get a Dell, unless I can take it apart and move the components into the QS Case. ************************************* I went to the dell website and built what should be a Hackintosh ready dell.
