tunedbeat
I installed vista, then went back to windows xp. Now, i deleted the windows OS. Because i couldn't get in my mac OS, now i have no OS. It boots up and tell me to insert a bootable disc. The macbook cd won't load up, how can i get the disc to boot? Colonel
Hold down the "option" key when booting your MacBook. You will get a boot loader that will allow you to go back into OS X. tunedbeat
Sorry, i am new to Mac. If "option" key means the apple sign key, then i have tried that already. Nothing loads up, but the "No operating system found, please insert bootable device/disc" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45494-someone-help-me-i-have-no-os/#findComment-325487 Share on other sites
erbic
There should be a key on your keyboard saying "alt option" on it. Hold that down when you boot. This is on a real Mac, right? If it's a Hackintosh then it's completely different. tunedbeat
Sorry, i didn't want to start a new post. But, i ran to another problem. My mac os cd is stuck in my drive. When i boot, i get nothing, just a white screen with the apple sign. Also, i've tried holdin down the mouse button on my keyboard, but it didn't eject. I also tried usin a usb mouse, that didn't work either. Anyother way of forcin the cd out, beside openin her up? asap18
A few months ago a cd got stuck in my macbook. It would try to eject it but it would get stuck. I just tilted her to the side and banged on the opposite side to get it out while pushing eject.
