Ooze3d
Hi all: I'm new here. I've got a Mac Pro at work and I simply love OSX. I also have a x86 desktop and laptop here at home. Both have windows installed but I want to migrate them to OSX86 10.4.8. I started with the laptop. It's an Acer Aspire Centrino 2,0Gz, 100Gb ATA disk, 1gb DDR2 Ram, Intel graphics... Yesterday I tried to install OSX using Disk Tools to format the hdd. The install process goes perfect but after the first boot it hangs and nothing else happens. Am I doing anything wrong? Or is it my laptop? Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45090-1048-doesnt-work-on-my-centrino-any-ideas/ Share on other sites
Ooze3d
By the way... The laptop processor is a Pentium M 760 and I'm trying to install JAS 10.4.8 SSE2+SSE3 Intel AMD iso. Bruce Wang
The Disk Utility in JAS 10.4.8 SSE2+SSE3 Intel AMD iso is buggy. Did you apply V1 PPF and Defiant PPF to the original ISO? If not, use other versions to set your HDD. Ooze3d
I've got a 10.4.6 iso too... You mean I can use the disk tools included in that dvd to format and then install JAS iso?
