glassJAw
I've always been able to install OSX86 on my pc and now I go around to reformat reinstall and it gives me a info plist error at boot after the installation is complete and boots up for the first time. I don't get why.. I'm using 10.4.8 JAS installation. U.C.
Delete all HFS+ partitions from you HDD and recreate one using Diskpart in Windows. If you have no idea how to use diskpart, then search on this forum, I have posted tutorials ..... glassJAw
Alright I see that I can do smething like that but what bothers me is when I first set this computer up I just popped the Jas DVD in, reformated OSX installed and booted up just fine. Now when I install it doesn't boot up. I can't see how it just all of the sudden stops booting OSX up for no reason since it worked before. hecker
Are you sure you didn't add or remove any new hardware? How about your BIOS? You could also try booting off a windows install disc and using fdisk on it. Just an idea, though. Cheers, hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45048-osx86-always-installed-fine-and-now-it-gives-me-a-error/#findComment-322933 Share on other sites
glassJAw
Everything is the same except ram. I'll give fdisk a try. glassJAw
I just thought of this.. I have a Macbook and a IDE to USB device. Could I format the hard drive through OSX on my Macbook or use the JAS disc on the macbook and format the hard drive?
