simisimisimi
hello, i have a p5ld2-vm w/ dual displays (one dvi, one vga) and i want to have dual dvi. can anyone tell me a cheap way on how to do this? is there maybe a way to leave the add2 dvi card in the pci-e and add another graphics card with DVI in a pci slot? it's just that i've seen dual dvi cards being really expensive (starting at like $130). best, simon Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45030-cheapest-way-to-add-dual-dvi-p5ld2-vm-w-add2-dvi-card/ Share on other sites

boo50
the cheapest way - is to buy the cheapest and most compatible VGA card. take XFX GeForce 7300 GT 256mb. i've one - and it's run great - just put natit_dual_v2 kext to extensions folder, doesn't even edit any kexts and both dvi are working with my ACD 23 and Nec 1560 Edited March 14, 2007 by boo50 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45030-cheapest-way-to-add-dual-dvi-p5ld2-vm-w-add2-dvi-card/#findComment-323519 Share on other sites
nagal
X1800GTO works perfect in 10.4.8 with Natit_Uni and has dual DVI out. I beleive they can be found for under $100 now on NewEgg Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45030-cheapest-way-to-add-dual-dvi-p5ld2-vm-w-add2-dvi-card/#findComment-323570 Share on other sites
occupant
I recently discovered the Wintec Pegasys ADD2 dual DVI card while googling around. It also comes in a low profile version with a DMS59 connector. I haven't purchased one yet, but it looks like what you're after. Cheapest place I've found to buy them is opentip.com, but they have no froogle or resellerrating info so I'm certainly not plugging them.
