I started BootCamp, went through a couple of steps, and it asked me put in the XP installation disk.

I did that, XP loaded for installation, and the blue screen that says "hit enter to install" did not respond. Apparently the installation CD did not recognize my keyboard.

Now when I reboot, all I get is a black screen telling me that there's no boot device found.

What do I do now? Reinstall? How do I reinstall if the computer doesn't even respond to anything I do when trying to boot up? All I get is this black screen of death....

Please help, thanks.

Hold Option right when you boot up the computer; the Mac's EFI should see it and load up the graphical boot menu. You can then pick your Mac partition to boot.

Yup, that's what Apple told me to do when I called them up.

They said that the installation program wasn't responding to the Mac keyboard because I put in a pre-Service Pack 2 CD. So next time I'll be sure to use SP2.

Thanks for the advice.
