Soliber
Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, I hope so Anyway, I was wondering if there is any chance that Apple is thinking about replacing that dreadful GMA 950 with something that packs a little more punch. I mean, frow what I've read, even the Xpress 200 is somewhat stronger. Especially now that AMD has launched their 690 chipset with an onboard chip that's about as strong as a X700, and I've read that there will be mobile versions of this chipset Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44711-swapping-the-gma-950-with-someting-better/ Share on other sites
Embio
this is interesting, with Robson, 800mhz bus, a better video card and of course the 64-bit core 2 duos I would buy a new Macbook this summer, but I dont think I could bring my self to sell this one - it would feel like betrayal lol. Anyone fancy paying way over the odds for 5 PCs and a Power Mac G3? Soliber
I'm 90% sure of buying one either way, a blackbook that is The only drawback is that graphics adapter in name only, known as GMA 950. I mean seriously, that thing can hardly run Counterstrike Source >_> It's not like I want to do hardcore gaming with that macbook, but there is WAY too much difference in price between a macbook that can't game, and a macbook pro that can. Either should Intel get with the times and upgrade their GMA 950, or Apple should either change over to the AMD 690 chipset (please do, that would be so awesome ^^), or include an option of something like a X1400 of whatever >_> Edited March 9, 2007 by Soliber Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44711-swapping-the-gma-950-with-someting-better/#findComment-320278 Share on other sites

Personally, I want a iMAC 24 with 2 Hard Drives.
