www.7zip.org. I can't tell what the problem is, but maybe 7zip won't stop at 2% if thats the problem.

You have to burn the ISO. You need a CD burner. www.imgburn.com can do it if you have one.

You seem inexperienced. Perhaps OSX86 is a bit too difficult at your experience level. Good luck.

Maybe your disk is just full? If you have another partition, then try right clicking the file and choosing "extract to specified folder..." and pick a different partition than the one the file is currently residing in.

Also, there is a 4GB limit for Fat32 partitions, so you'll need a different file system to decompress the image file.

Large files also sometimes take a long time to decompress.

I suggjest to use some kind of nice burning program. Ultraiso is nice one or magic iso or stm like that...

did you mean fat 16? with limits.. As i remember FAT 32 is until 2 TiB =).

Just something i could not go by without the notice :D

First off, you don't extract the Jas.iso image. You need a dvd burner. I assume you have one. Next you need a dvd burning program. Use Nero or magic iso or Ultra iso. Any of those will burn that iso file. Once the file is burned the dvd is now bootable. So just put it in the dvd drive and reboot your machine. You should be good to go and install OSX, unless you run into a problem. You can do a search on this forum and you should be able to the answers you need. Also check the wiki and make sure that the machine you're going to use for OSX is compatible.

Good luck,

@Alucard!

FAT32 has a maximum PARTITION SIZE LIMIT of 2TB, but a maximum file size of only 4GB, which I was referring to since ronikondo could probably be trying to extract the file into a FAT32 partition. Windows XP and Windows 2000 even limit partition creation to no larger than 32GB on FAT32.

See here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;184006

EDIT: I noticed that I forgot to add the word "file" in the above post before partition, though :tomato: (but hey, a little chaos and confusion is necessary once in a while)

Yes he does. The file he needs is packed in a multi-volume RAR archive as you can see in the screenshot he posted.
