Shrimp
After a long time of getting the error "Still waiting for root device" I have finally passed it! But now I have another problem (i've searched the forums and only found small details so i'm not sure if it's fixable) When I do F8, -v and I watch it, it gets to "Starting LoginWindow.app" Then I only start hearing music and when I press buttons on the keyboard I hear sounds, so I think it did load to the Wizard when you first reboot and have to set up the basic stuff. I can't see anything on the screen except the text that had loaded previously. So I think one of these 3 is the problem: * - I installed the wrong callisto driver (I installed B003, I don't know if it was fixed or if I have to modify it some how if I do please tell me) * - Something else is making it not work that I don't even know about. * - My PC just doesn't work with OSx86.. My Specs are: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ ATI Radeon x200 Xpress Series Integrated Graphics 80GB SATA HD (I believe I fixed this problem of it being SATA) 2GB DDR Ram RS480 Motherboard Please Post what you guys think is wrong... hecker
Hmm, I suspect the video card must be the problem. Maybe you could remove the callisto drivers and see what happens? You can access the terminal with the install DVD. hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43915-small-problem/#findComment-314077 Share on other sites
