3030vision Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Hi all, I believe I'm dangerously close to getting my OSX86 system up-and-running, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to need this patch (ICH7R/8R patch for JaS 10.4.8 Intel/AMD SSE2/SSE3). However, I've only been able to find it on Demonoid and since it's not "newer" I can't download without registering, and registration invites appear to be *really* hard to come by (lots of people begging, me included). I'd be happy to offer an FTP site to put it on, I don't think it's that big. Any help is appreciated!! Thanks. I patched the JaS 10.4.8 AMD/Intel ISO with the v1p patch, then the Defiant diskutil.7 patch, THEN the ICH7R/ICH8R patch and the install still didn't appear to recognize my SATA drives. After talking with another member who has my same MB (Asus P5B-VM), he said he just used the "Intel only" JaS 10.4.8 ISO DVD and that recognized his SATA drives in ACHI mode. I dunno if that makes sense, but I'm trying to get the "Intel Only" ISO now to see how that works. But regardless, thanks!
