sadiekiller
So I love the idea of the program Hazel for OS X, but I've searched for a while and found no equivalent program for XP. See I want Firefox to just download everything to one folder and then let another program move the files based on their extensions. Like a *.torrent file would move to an auto-load folder for uTorrent, or a *.mp4 or *.mpg file would move to My Videos. I found a program that moves files from one folder to another, but no specifications, and then I found another program that has specification, but it requires you to select out the files and drag them to an open window (i.e. no source folder). If anyone knows of such a program please list it here. Edit// I found one that will do it, but not without a lot of manual plug in, but it works. http://mattcollinge.wordpress.com/software/file-mover/ Edited February 14, 2007 by sadiekiller
angrykeyboarder
I found one via a Google search. It came up in the same results as your post. As of this writing, I'd downloaded it but not yet installed it. It's called Cleandesk Organizer. It's $12.00 shareware.

OctoPrime
There's Hygeia which is a great tool for organizing your stuff. It lets you define rules based on name, size, date, mp3 tags, etc. you can also define actions for copy, move, rename, extract compressed files, etc.
